NoForeignLand is absolutely indispensable, and we think it is fantastic. No cruiser should be without it. We use it constantly. This page is a supplement to the app. See this area on NoForeignLand · Some Tuesday on NoForeignLand · Captain Steve on NoForeignLand · First Mate Meg on NoForeignLand.
We check out of Tonga in late October 2026 and sail roughly 400 nautical miles west to Fiji, to be tucked in before cyclone season begins on 1 November. We have not cleared in yet. There are no anchorage notes and no island-group pages until we have been.
The plan, as written on Where We Are, is a cyclone-season layover through April 2027. The clearance guide is already up, from the official sites, and our own notes get added after we clear in.
Sailing here? Read the Fiji customs and clearance guide. The forms tool fills in the paperwork on your device.
