When we are not on the water, we are here. Some Tuesday Ranch is our land base — a secluded one-acre spread in the quiet high desert outside Pahrump, and now the place we hand over to you.
The house is two thousand square feet of what we can only describe as eclectic-bohemian glam: teal velvet sofas, hand-painted Talavera tile, kilim rugs, a wall of Western portraits and a wood-burning fireplace that earns its keep on cold desert nights. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, six beds, room for ten.
But the real magic happens outside. Afternoons belong to the lagoon-style pool, where you can float and watch the Spring Mountains turn purple at twilight. Evenings belong to the fire pit — oversized, stocked with fragrant mesquite, ringed by eight colourful Adirondack chairs. And then the sky does its thing. With a full acre of open ground and almost no light pollution, the Milky Way comes out in a way that stops conversation mid-sentence.
Out under the sky
Ten loungers along the pool deck. A private hot tub. A Traeger grill and an al-fresco dining table for long dinners that run past dark. Shade sails for the middle of the day, an overstuffed reading chair looking out over the lawn for the quiet hours, and a cornhole board for when the group gets competitive. Blankets hang by the door on the way out to the fire.
Inside, when you want it
The kitchen is properly stocked — double ovens, a coffee bar, wine glasses, everything you need to cook a holiday meal rather than order one. There is seating for six at the dining table, three more at a second table and three stools at the kitchen bar. When the sun goes down there is a cabinet of board games, a poker set, a record player with records to match, and a giant HD TV. Starlink keeps the Wi-Fi genuinely fast, which matters if you are working from here or streaming something after everyone else turns in.
Close to everything, far from the noise
The ranch sits on a corner lot in Country View Estates, minutes from Highway 160 but far enough back that the loudest thing you will hear most evenings is the desert breeze. Death Valley is about an hour away, Red Rock Canyon a little under, and the Las Vegas Strip roughly sixty minutes door to door. Closer still: natural hot springs, off-road trails, and Pahrump’s award-winning wineries and distilleries, five to fifteen minutes down the road.
Come for a family gathering, a writers’ retreat, a basecamp for the parks, or for nothing at all. We built it for slow mornings and star-filled nights.
